When you’re not filming in a studio things can get a little complicated, as there are often few facilities and your cast and crew are spread out in hotels across the area. Our structures come in a range of sizes with different fit-out options and control systems to suit all budgets and timeframes. They can go up in as little as 24 hours and then stay up for just a couple of days, or for months on end. Areas such as dressing rooms can be spacious and open to accommodate lots of people at once or be partitioned off into individual private spaces with all the necessary facilities, such as lighting, carpeting, heating, air conditioning, etc.
A marquee is also great for secure onsite storage, which can be invaluable. The right storage space will save you time and money, as everything your team need will be close to hand and easy to access.
Food, glorious food
Keeping your cast and crew well fed is essential too, and our catering areas can include everything from a basic selection of kitchenettes and furniture to full commercial kitchens, complete with non-slip flooring, ventilation and more. We recently supplied a spacious canteen area for a Channel 4 production of Married at First Sight, which was equipped with matting floors, 19 bistro chairs and 15 trestle tables.
Finally, after long hours on a busy set, people need somewhere to relax. We can create a green room area equipped with different levels of furnishings and fit outs, including things like charging points for phones and laptops, to make sure everyone is well rested and ready to go when you need them.
