Needing to film on location for a 6-part series, for a middle eastern client, there was no suitable space at the location for changing rooms, make-up areas and green room space. There also needed to be separate areas within the space for men and women to accommodate their client’s cultural requirements.
We provided a 20m x 35m marquee, split into a cast area and a supporting artists area. The cast area was further split into men’s and women’s areas, plus a Green Room area. The supporting artists area was also split to provide a Green room space.
Hard flooring, carpets, chairs and tables were provided, as were LED lighting, fire safety kits and solid doors, with ramps.
The marquee was constructed on grass, so staked to the ground. A number of the normal PVC side panels were replaced with panoramic window panels to provide plenty of natural light.
The marquee provided a space that met all the needs of the client, helping make the filming of the TV series run smoothly. During the de-rig, we were informed that the series had been bought by Netflix.
