The Client
Laing O’Rourke is an international engineering firm, working on projects across the globe. Back in 2014, they were working on No.1 Hyde Park, the residential and retail complex in Knightsbridge.
Their needs
Everything in this development is of the highest quality and therefore would be expensive to replace if damaged. When additional flooring work had to be carried out, the building, including fixtures and fittings, need to be protected.
What we did
Working with our supply chain, we developed two bespoke temporary structures. These were designed to fit the internal dimensions of the building and to protect it from damage and dust.
The Results
The marquee was installed quickly, allowing the flooring work to go ahead with minimal disruption for the tenants and no impact on the building. Once the work was complete, all trace of the protective solution was removed within a day.
