The right coverage for the job

We’ve worked with clients such as international engineering firm Laing O’Rourke, in relation to its prestigious No 1 Hyde Park development in Knightsbridge.
The challenge was to provide a covering for stonemasons who were refitting flooring in two of the building’s main hallways. It was imperative that the stonemasons could work uninterrupted and that the existing fixtures and fittings remained in place and were well protected from the works. The build time was also very limited, to ensure minimum disruption to the residents.
A bespoke solution
After meeting the client onsite, we worked with our skilled in-house team and supply chain to design and deliver two bespoke temporary structures. These marquees required to be built and fitted within the hallways. After refining both structures in our warehouse, we were ready to install them during a tight, two-day build schedule. Both structures were then dismantled two months later in an efficient one-day take down.
This bespoke marquee solution meant that the project stayed on time and on budget. More importantly, we had to ensure there was no damage to the surroundings and also with minimum impact to the residents. The result was considered a huge success and you can see the full case study here.
