The Client
The Salvation Army is a worldwide evangelical Christian church. In the UK they offer practical help for people without discrimination, standing up for those who are vulnerable, fighting against injustice and encouraging people to deepen their relationship with God. The services they offer are diverse and responsive to the realities of life in the communities they serve.
Their Need
The 20th High Council meeting this year included the election of three High Council officers. They wanted a coffee lounge for council members and a connection from the lounge to the main building at Sunbury Court.
The Solution
We provided two marquees: a 3m x3m entrance marquee and a 9m x 24m marquee (including panoramic windows) as the coffee lounge. To these we added:
- Hard flooring and carpet
- Heating and lighting
- Roof lining
- Sofas, stools and occasional tables
The Results
High Council members had an area to relax, take coffee and talk in between formal sessions and elections.
