Nudge PR specialises in food and drink PR, with specific experience of premium brands and events.
They encompass all established and emerging platforms, from print and broadcast to the ever evolving social media landscape in order to reach their clients’ objectives and deliver outstanding campaigns.
Their client, Normandy Tourism, wants to see more British people holidaying in Normandy in 2022, and beyond. Nudge PR organised a four-day tasting event, with each location having links to Normandy: Hastings, Windsor, Norwich and Canterbury. Each of these places has a Norman castle.
A number of different food and drink companies took part in the event, providing tastings of their products, starting on Friday and ending on Bank Holiday Monday. A marquee was needed for the event.
What we did
Starting in Hastings, we erected the marquees in the morning. At the end of the day, we took it down, packed the lorry and drove to Windsor and repeated the process again on Saturday. Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday saw the process repeated twice more to ensure that Nudge PR and Normandy Tourism had the space they needed in exactly the right places at the right time.
We used two teams of riggers for this, doing two days each.
Over the four days over 8000 people sampled the delightful food and drink of Normandy and everyone, who was returning to France, made the 9.30pm ferry on the Monday evening.
