All of our structures conform to British wind testing standards (BS6399). The structural metals aluminium and steel conform to BS8118 and BS5950 respectively. The PVC we use has been tested to BS7837 standards. All the material we use to build a structure is fire retardant to current British standards. Once a year we conduct safety tests on all our electrical equipment (PAT).
Erecting a safe and secure structure is of paramount importance to us. All our staff are trained in house along with the MUTA safety program. Only once they have completed this training are they deemed fit for work. While at work our team will always be wearing the necessary PPE. Ensuring our structures on long term hire continue to meet our extremely high safety standards is essential. That’s why we will complete thorough safety inspections at the end of each month.
Our list of PPE includes the following:
- Hard hats with chin straps
- Long sleeved hi-vis
- Steel toe capped boots with mid sole protection
- Cut 5 safety gloves
- Industrial safety glasses
- Ear defenders
